Default German documents

Here is what I believe to be a German pay book or equipment record book with two photographs that were together. They were given to me by one of my old war time buddies who has long since passed on. On the chance of one in a million if anyone recognizes the people or the book I would be happy to send the same to them with absolutely no obligation. NOTE the Christmas border on the book it may bring closure to someone.

Norm, from what I can read this was the paybook of Gefreiter Otto Frey. Does the paybook mention a birthdate of 21 April 1911? If so, see the appeal on the Volksbund Deutsche
Kriegsgräberfürsorge
website
: he was killed 12 days after he was promoted to Gefreiter - and they are still looking for him...
Maybe you can contact the Volksbund and let them know you have his paybook?

Hanno
