51st Royal Tank Regiment

During the attack on the Hitler Line/Winter Line the 51stRTR was in company with Canadian infantry, however, the action was such a success that the Canadians allowed the regiment and other regiments of the 25 Tank Brigade to wear the Maple Leaf on their Brigade sign.
