Default VE-Day event in Ottawa

Following message posted on behalf of Eric Booth. Mesage follows;
Hello Folks

Thank you for being patient. Things are now on track and moving ahead.

Gene has been working hard and finances for some of the vehicles to Ottawa has been approved in addition to the camping location, tents, port-a-potties, Shower facilities meals etc.

On the vehicle side of things we have approximately 48 vehicles registered for these events.

Due to the phenomenal number of Veterans registered for this event 2500 and the large number of requests for rides in the military vehicles we are asking for each vehicle owner to advise us how many positions will be available for Veterans. We(VAC) will assign Veterans to each vehicle in advance to make things easier.

So can you please get back to me ASAP with the number of places available for Veterans and if that is seated or standing. I know we would prefer seated, however as in last year we will no doubt get a group who will hop in at the last minuit and stand.

See below for any changes to the events

Thanks
Eric

Hi

Not sure what you mean. "Armour deployed"? Do you mean the add on plates bolted to the hull and turret or do you mean the mast mounted surv system deployed (extended)?

No and yes to the above.
