Looks like all RCEME equipment. Maybe a Holmes and a Garwood Wrecker, with a KL in the middle.

Back then, Canada used to have annual Memorial Day Parades across the country, I think in September, or late May. All three branches of the services were involved as well as local Emergency Services. Navy was first, followed by Army and Air Force units and then the Civilian Services.

Every local Ship, Regiment and Squadron was represented with personnel and equipment.

Always a major local event and well attended. Done away. With in the late 1960’s, IIRC.

The trucks will likely be from 36 tech sqn. , which was the RCEME unit in MooseJaw. In fact, that KL is very likely the one I owned for years, and is presently at the Oshawa museum. I spent a little time at the library in MooseJaw looking through old microfiche of the local paper hoping to find a photo of that truck. Now, almost 30 years later, I have seen one. Thanks.

Beautiful photo. Any chance of a higher resolution image?

Dan.

I found the picture when I was looking at Moose Jaw on here. It is the best image quality I have. Eddy

Thanks for posting this picture, Ed!

I see dual wheels on the Lindsey bodies machinery truck in the background, so I presume it's a Diamond T, just like the second wrecker. Also nice to see an open cab Mack LMSW wrecker.
