Further down the ad he say's he'll post, but rather hefty rates:

Local Pickup Preferred, but happy to ship at buyers expense.
Australia post calculator estimates between $35-70 for shipping.
Very nice item as you say Lynn, I'd happily pay that for a NOS Ford blitz steering wheel. It's the most intimate part of any vehicle.

Not a Canadian Chev CMP steering wheel by part number or appearance. Does anyone recognize what this wheel might fit? .... Brian

It looks like the commercial pattern 3 spoke steering wheel for Chevs but I don't see the part number 754096 in any of the following parts lists:
2 parts lists for MCP Chevs
parts list 175 for CMPs
a military GMC (not Chevy) master parts listing
Chevrolet master parts catalog 1929-1948
Chevrolet and Maple Leaf Parts Catalogue covering 1926-54 published by General Motors Holden's
Unfortunately, the above is more a list of what the wheel isn't rahter than what it is.
I don't have much covering the US Chevs (truck or car) for their military, perhaps this is a possible use?

Good work Grant. I tried to follow the same train of research. The tag does look like Canadian Chev/GMC format so best to persue the Canadian connection.
The design of the wheel does not look like it would accommodate the typical GMC horn button design. The mystery continues.... Brian

Default Here it is.

The steering wheel is for the Lend/ Lease Chev and part number 754096 appears in TM 10-1338 applicable to model 4403, 4408 and 4409 1-1/2 ton (4x2) right hand drive trucks.
These wheels used a die-cast ring that sat below the hub with three prongs that poked up through holes in the hub and to which the horn button components attached. It was rather frail and few have survived intact.
