Default larspur items

I would be interested in a J 2 box if available, a loudspeaker, the vehicle inspection light, the stove and pots and a head set.

Please email at: gordfalk@shaw.ca

Thanks

Interesting bits,

Welcome to MLU. 4b1t

I have noticed that you have had a couple of other posts, namely :-RCD Staghound near Ottawa 11-07-11, 12:50 and Cornwall Firearms and Militaria Show, Cornwall Armoury, Sunday 28 May and have previously been asked to identify yourself.

We would like you to give your name and interests as we are all friends here.

MLUers are a great bunch who do everything to help each other. So, pease tell us a bit about yourself and as I said at the start: Welcome to MLU.

Regards Rick.

Yes Bob. Same design, different name and country. I recognize some of the pieces too, but shivver at the thought of holding down the pressel switch, muffling the microphone against the chest, adjusting the swing of the needle from left to right and stopping between the dots. Otherwise known as tuning the antenna.

And, especially if it was cold out, you had to do it again in 15 minutes, then again in half an hour, and then hourly after that as the set warmed up. All our Jeeps in the FGH had a hole cut in the back tarp so we could tune the ATU without having to leave the (semi-) warmth of the jeep.

I have a little foldout pamphlet around here somewhere....a pocket size foldout "aide-de memoire" to tune and use the C42.

I e mailed you 13 minutes after you posted, was the first one in, yet they were sold. Odd.

I'd like to know who you are.

Default Peter

I would suggest the new person often doesn't know their way around the P.M. system, and so side steps it.

Default No.. nor annoyed

If he had given me a price...if...I would have said

"I'll take it at your quoted price" and sent him a cheque for the full
amount. Deal Done!

As Don Smith said......."It's for sale until sold."
