There is a "WAVEMETER CLASS D No 1 Mk2" on ebay.co.uk now, and the price of that item has rocketed to 205 pounds.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...STRK:MEBIDX:IT Ho knows more about the Wavemeter to write a few words?

This is the second one to sell recently for a very high price. They normally sell at swap meets in the $25 range.
It is a piece of test equipment to check the dial accuracy of transmitters and receivers. These were used by the Brits with WS19, WS22, WS62, etc. The Yanks had their version called a BC221. Canadians used the TE149 |
