Default WW1 tank in New Zealand

A little over a week ago heading north out of Wellington we came across a WW1 Big Willy tank on an army transporter going in the same direction obviously on it's way to the NZ Army museum.
Does anyone know the story on this tank? It looked to be in excellent condition and I was wondering if it was the replica from the film Warhorse?

I don't think there are any functioning WW1 tanks that museums would risk out of their buildings. And yes, I believe you have correctly guessed the story for that particular example.

The War Horse replica was acquired by the Tank Museum in Bovington. I saw it in action last summer during the 100 years tank event in The Netherlands.

If you search this forum you will find info about a replica in New Zealand. IIRC, this was built for a movie also.

I believe there is more than one. Peter Jackson had them built. There was one at "Armistice in Karapiro" (Cambridge) last weekend.
