This Sherman is a gate guard at the old CFB Chillwack base in BC. I was able to get some interior shots by sticking my camera up through a hole in the engine compartment. You can still see some decals on the inside and it looks fairly complete except for the engines, getting 2 GMC 671’s would be easy, but harder to find the transmission and coupler unit, still it would be great to have this restored to running, maybe if I win the lottery?
The tank’s name is Catherine and I have more photo’s and can get more details if anyone wants them.

Yes show us more.

The dual engine packages (with different overall ratios) were often used as power paks in the oilfield.

The original poster has not been to this site since 2004, so further info from that source may not be forthcoming.
