Default Wireless Set No 19, Carrier No. 23, ZA 10315

No affiliation with the seller. Came across this while surfing eBay and know there are lots of Carrier owners that are in need of this item. Not much time left on it unfortunately.

Default Shipping too expensive

I was eyeballing that carrier and contacted the seller, but with shipping to Texas the total cost would have been over $300.00. I didn't quite need it that bad.

I'm surprised they were saying it would cost so much for shipping. Probably got a registered airmail quote instead of checking economy surface rates.

You can probably get away with using just the carrier plate for the 19 set and PSU for your truck. Its the rectangular part on the upper right side of their first auction photo. The bigger part its all mounted onto is the hard thing to source for Universal Carriers as I understand it.

Default The thing of it is

I'm in the midst of completing a deal to sell my one complete 19 set (well, near complete...no aerial rods"F") and carrier to a museum... in Europe. Had I completed the deal while the ebay auction was still on, I could have had the ebay carrier shipped to the museum, I could've kept my carrier, and the buyer would've saved on shipping over the pond. That's the way it goes sometimes.
So, of course, I'm looking for another carrier, and the Holy Grail for 19 set collectors, the ever elusive aerial rods "F"
Anybody?
