Default canvas cradle cover identification needed

I came across this NOS cradle cover in an antique store. Does anyone know what it fits? It has nylon rope fitted so I'm assuming post WW2. Being labelled "M1" suggests american....

Those are to cover the 30 cal MG cradles. Here is a link to a listing on ebay:https://www.ebay.com/itm/WWII-US-Arm...-/350907715592

Default everything is an M1

Thanks Rob. Presumably it's a cover just for the cradle... intended to be fitted when the gun isn't fitted?
These were in NZ so I'll have to ponder what vehicles had a pintle mounted 30 cal.... generally not too many to choose from.

Most US made armor would have, such as the Stuart tanks.

Along the same lines... is this also likely to be a cover for a cradle mounted 30 cal?

I see that cover listed as a Stuart item here: http://www.militaryvehiclesupply.net/list/2 (see the cover part number D-58215)
