Default Rear axle plate.

Can anyone please supply me with the dimensions and photos for the rear plate over the top of the axle and exhaust for a No2 mk2* carrier please.

I see there is one on ebay at the moment for a Mk1 carrier, is there much difference in the overall dimensions?

Thanks Stephen

They are easy to fabricate mate..I believe the overall size and shape is the same (the exhausts don't move between Mk's after all )
There are differences between the heat shields in that they are both solid on Mk2 rather than mesh.

The one on eBay looks really rotten but you could get some data from it pricey pattern of course...

Old Buck Restorations have patterns made for this piece and can knock them out at a reasonable price... Based on Norfolk it's not too far from you.

I have a mk1 axle cover full of holes but all the data is there to use as a pattern.

If you drive to Newcastle you can have it for free

No prob's it's there if anyone wants it... Will need flattening but otherwise has all of the holes and apertures for the exhaust pipes in their correct places etc.
