Scavenging bits off a dumped Blitz in the scrub? He has an 18" shifter up one sleeve and a prybar up the other. He's walking strangely because of the Hi-Lift jack in his trouser leg.

Just to show the Northern Hemisphere people a view from above. If you can imagine 3/4 of Australia is this colour all year round.

In this photo there is a truck to the far right which appears to be a Chevrolet with a van body. Can you tell me more about this one if it is please?

Cliff,

That is an Austin K9 4x4 1 ton truck, with a replica wireless body. It belongs to Bob Dimer from WA.

Default Austin pic

Cliff,

Here is a photo of the same Austin, taken at Lambert Centre (the geographical centre of Australia) while we were on the Trackers 2000 event.

Thanks for that Richard I appreciate your prompt reply. I am presently doing a model of an RAAF Chev wireless tender truck and so wondered if it was one.

Cheers
