Browning .30 no.8 mount

Why is a m.g. mount for a ferret and some other vehicles so hard to find? There should have been thousands produced...most photos ive seen...canadians removed the "chicken handle" the fold down firing handle...i m looking for one to complete 54-82589.....any ideas?
