Default Australian version

The Aussie version went to air about a month ago and some of the footage was truly amazing - titled "The Colour of War" and using the voice of actor Russell Crowe.

They used some of the GM-H wartime factory footage of new CMPs being driven out of the factory, and some of the aircraft footage was stunning - Beauforts and Beaufighters shot air-to-air, most of which I'd never thought existed.

So hopefully some of your version will feature CMPs too!

Default DVD maybe?

Any notice accompanying this release about whether or not it will be available on DVD. Like I need an excuse to spend more money on Amazon. Or about the Australian version? I've the British version narrated by the late and much-missed John Thaw and think it is very good.

Cheers to all and a Happy Christmas.

Bob

Default DVD

The Australian one is available on DVD but I'm not sure whether there is a NTSC version.

Default Colour of War

The original "Colour of War" series was made by the BBC a couple of years ago and this is still available on VHS and DVD.
The "Anzacs" version is a co-production by Nine Network Australia and TVNZ and sold by Film Australia (VHS and DVD versions), and I can recommend it. The DVD I have is for zone 4 and PAL, but doesn't say anything about being available in NTSC or other zones, but does list a contact at sales@filmaust.com.au
I understand that most new DVD players these days will play multi-zone and multi-format discs, and it they won't, your DVD-ROM on your computer will.
