Heads Up: Commercial trucks used by military forces

Furter to the debate on Commercial vs. Modified Conventional Pattern trucks, listed here are these commercial vehicles in military service - just because I think they are interesting and underrated:

1942 Ford 218T Stake & Platform Truck, just relisted on Ebay
Chevrolet Truck WWII 4X2 Flatbed stake & platform
1940 Canadian Dodge

At least all the big three manufacturers are represented!

The first and the third picture are left hand drive ..the second,or middle picture appears to be right hand drive.
