That was more than 10 meters, no warranty on it now !!
Love the sound of a V8, and the noise of tracks.
Well done Petr, she's a credit to you.
Still waiting to see how that fan works out!

Good job Petr.
Interesting how the exhaust guards are both of expanded metal, same as we saw in the 1945 dated images. The welded STA looks great. With the stowage box and camo net bag installed, that rear view will be close to finished.

Thanks Michael, with the help from you guys she will be ready for the season within few months
BTW - have any of you ever seen british made carrier (Mk.II or III) with deeper style crew locker? Although, according to Chilwell, they should be there, I havent found any pics with them so far. They were found on canadian made Mk.IIs late, but no evidence on british stuff. Perhaps Britons were using "obsolete" stock lockers till the end of production? My carrier is very last production (T34XXXX).

Or for various reasons they may have reverted to the shallower box or even never used them? (the deep ones) On the earlier pre Universal carriers, the box in question was originally designated for Bren Gun Spares (they carried more than one gun) Then later it is a Crew locker. Maybe the British soldier was expected to need less space than a Canadian soldier? Maybe it was due to a more consistent supply line in the more concentrated theatre of the later stages of war in Europe? All just food for thought.

Working on the covers, looking better now
Also finisher STA - please note the lower L bar. Never seen it on the other carriers, but there were already two holes on the STA horns drilled and I think that they were for such strenghtening bar. Seems to be a good idea, so I made one. Much more rigid now.
Possibly field mod? Dont know.
