Ford V8 engine
This winter, making time for our several CMP - AC and Carrier maintenance
of the collection. After the great "Zwartboek" movie parade in The Hague last Oktober, the engine of the Loyd Carrier was making to much trouble, for Steven a sign to rebuild the old Ford Lynx V8 engine (came from Red Deer, Alberta). After replacing of the crankshaft - bearings - valves - pistons - rings plus some small parts and gaskets, is the Canadian V8 ready for the Loyd Carrier. (Thanks Steven) !!! Mvg. Dirk |

Go on, Max, start two, or three or four! Just listen to those 32 cylinders consuming fuel.

  A multibank of V8 flat-heads, beats the hell out of an A57. Certainly well Please note; cool here in Albion is now "book". . . . . . . . . . . The texting thumb-generation kids have found the stupid and useless (to me) predictive text function on your mobile(UK)/cellphone(N. America) inserts book if you try to type cool, therefore in an expected fit of laziness and apathy book stands and is understood to mean cool. Perhaps its just me getting old. : R. |
