Sherman Pistol Port Handle - Dimension request
I'm reaching out to MLU members for some basic dimensions of the Sherman Pistol Port handle, so that I can make a non-working replica out of wood, metal and/or plastic tubing.
Attached is a drawing showing requested dimensions. As these handles were similar in all Shermans a few key dimensions would be greatly appreciated. Even if I can get the correct diameter of the pipe that would be a big help, as I can scale the drawing from that point on. Ideally I am looking for A, B, D, and E dimensions to get me started.
Photos of the locking mechanism would also be incredibly helpful, as this illustration is not perfectly clear how it actually works.
