Not unseen. . . that first pic I have seen many times before, it wasn't in colour indeed.

And the caption should not read: "Icy: An American Sherman M4 tank moves past another gun carriage that slid off icy road in the Ardennes Forest during push to halt advancing German troops."; but: "Icy: An American M36 Gun Motor Carriage tries to pull out another gun carriage that slid off icy road in the Ardennes Forest during push to halt advancing German troops."

I have to agree with Hanno, at least the pic of the M36, the one with the Dodge bonnet and the one with the crashed plane have been available online ever since the LIFE pictures were published in cooperation with Google...three of four years ago (?). So, unlike the media wants us to believe, they are not "new".

Anyway, Some of the pics are new to me. The one with the M5A1 and Jumbo is pretty interesting.

Thanks Mike, Alex

p.s. I have also seen the M36 picture printed as a mirror image, but this time it seems they published it right way round.
