I believe that you're describing an AN/VRC-47, not a PRC-47. PRC=Pack Radio Communications, VRC=Vehicle Radio Communications. The AN/VRC-47 configuration consists of the RT-524A and the R-442, both in their applicable Mounting Trays and appropriate cabling and antennae arrays. The RT-524 would be the "A" Radio, whilst the R-442 would be the "B" Radio. Credit: TM11-5820-401-12, Dept of the Army and the Navy, Aug 1972.

Oops, sorry Stuart...looks like I really screwed up.
I automatically went to AN/XXX mode when you described the set. Anyhow, it looks like a nice rig, operating from 2-12 Mhz.

Are you seeing double...??? Bush hat not on...??? but It's me this time.. How do I delete a double posting?? If I go to edit there is no delete function...Do I just delete every thing with in the posting block and header...? and post an empty box..?? I'm sure Jeff and Hanno can but we should be able to correct our own mistakes.. Unless I'm missing something ..which is highly possible..

It wasn't the sun. Aus hat being dusted off, ready for CC5. Hopefully Sunray won't be too jealous and pull a hissy fit about me wearing it. See you there!
