Default 1939 (VC) 1.5 ton truck.. Trunnion Bearing Lock Ring

I am in search of the u joint lock rings for GM 609948 U joint repair kit...The original GM number for the circlip is GM 365316. I also have the following dimensions if helpful:

1- Cap outside diameter: 0.971"
2- Can Inside groove: 0.876"

3- ORIGINAL STYLE Lock ring (Round) outside diameter: 0.979-1.025
4- ORIGINAL STYLE Lock ring (Round) inside diameter: 0.826-0.857

5- OTHER REPLACEMENT Lock ring (square) outside diameter: 0.985-1.030
6- OTHER REPLACEMENT Lock ring (square) inside diameter: 0.81-0.86

Another dimension I have is the thickness of original being 0.085" and a range in thicknesses of the square samples from 0.055 to 0.058... I have found a newer GM part, 26056600 and Spicer number 10-7-29, but I am not sure if they can use it for my application. Your help is appreciated here, thank you.

I think that the only really critical dimension here is the thickness of the material of the lock ring. By that I mean the gap that you could measure if the ring were clamped between two flat surfaces, not the difference between its inside and outside radius. This thickness dimension is critical to the end float of the U joint spider bearings. All the other dimensions govern how well it snaps into its groove but really, as long as it does snap in, that will be ok.

In other words, regardless of the style of the circlip, round or flat, it needs to be 0.085" wide (as the original) to work properly...

I am very surprised that with as many years as torque tubes were around, that this small part is turning out to be impossible to find... Maybe one reason is that it is not supposed to be reused; but you would have thought that GM would have made quite a few of these...
