Default CDN Radio Identity

Can someone identify this set up? It came in an M38a1 that I purchased a while ago and I forgot about the radio until the thread that Chris started. I didn't want to hijack his so I started another. Thanks.

Looks like a RT176A (PRC-10) with an AM598/U amplifier/power supply. Allows the PRC-10 to run off of the vehicle battery without using it's own internal battery. Basically turning a portable into a mobile radio set.

Thanks for the reply Bruce. Now I can research it.

I agree. I gave one of these to Brian Gough at a CC rally in Chatsworth about 5 or so years ago.

It might now be in the Ontar's museum in Oshawa.
