Bruce: excellent back door shot of a WS No 52 and an RRB set up with RS C42s.

What is the emblem on the BD tunic right arm? It looks like a bandsman's metal badge.???????

Cool back door shot. Can even see the jump seat up front between the buckets. 19 Sets were gone by the time I joined but know the C42 well. Was at a mess dinner last night and met a fellow who claimed there is a junk yard in west winnipeg where a whole heap of tables and chairs and other interior parts were stripped out and dumped. Offered to tell me where but the sobriety factor intervened. This gentleman told me he wants to restore an ANGRC 33 Pod. There was one for years at Jericho in Vancouver but it completely disintegrated many years ago and was carted off. He says the only working example he is aware of is at the museum in Kingston. Anyone know different?

Cheers

Unhappy M152 (radio truck) interior parts

Try the SECO yard near Augusta, Georgia. There are 40+ Cdn. M152s sitting there, many of which were radio vans. Commo gear is long gone but many trucks still retain interior tables, shelves brackets etc. I hear that they have just dropped the price to US$600 each but remember that these trucks have been sitting outside (beside a swamp) since they were trucked down there from Montreal in 1976. Did I mention the hornets or the snakes ...

Thanks Hanno,
I'ld found the site prior to purchasing the truck I've got. It seemed to me that free would be too much to pay for those old girls. Pity they've been left to deteriorate so badly. Some of the inside shots of the benches are interesting.

Cheers
