Default Never seen one of these..

Just received some photos from an event held in Canungra (Queensland) the other day, among them a CMP based scout car, see pics. Also a nice C60X, don't know if it is all genuine though.

Yes, the S1 or SC1 was an interesting vehicle and an example of reverse lend-lease. The description on the board is accurate although there was one F15A chassis used as well.

It was sort of a mini White Scout car in the rear design with a similar skate ring.

Default Australian S1 Scout Car

At the recent MJCQ swap meet and display weekend at Canungra, Queensland Oz, this ultra-rare australian S1 Scout Car made its restoration debut. Of the approximately 40 built (including a single 4WD version) only two are still in existence. This is the restored and driveable example, the other being in Sid Beck's Museum in Mareeba FNQ.
