Default SPECIAL DELIVERY

After Sunday breakfast, Geoff presented Bob with a bag full of Austrialian trinkets. I'll leave Geoff to explain the significance of this photo. Bob was delighted with the gifts. Over to you Sunray...

Default SHOWING THE FLAG

A group of participants took the time to have this photo taken with Geoff and the MLU banner. The service provided by Geoff (and his generosity - Feed the Museum Crowd Fund) seemingly know no bounds. On behalf of the Ottawa Rotters and our friends and fellow nut cases, I thank you Geoff. Enjoy your tea. You deserve it.

Default Parting Gifts

Bob presented Mike with a General Dynamics Land System shirt in appreciation of the massive effort undertaken by Mike to organize the convoy from Kars to Hammond. Thanks to Stewart for the shirt! I'll have a cold Keiths waiting for you on your next visit (it's time you learned to drink real beer).

Mike McKinley (as previously mentioned by Bob) graciously provided CDs to be given out to participants. All were received with great interest and appreciation. Thanks Mike.

It is with great pleasure that I can report to Max Hedges that despite a succession of unfortunate delays enroute, I was able to complete the last leg of a 65-year, 24,000-mile round trip for a selection of Canadian CMP truck parts.

It was with even greater pleasure that I had the privilege of personally signing these tokens of respect over to Mr. Carriere, on behalf of our friend and compatriot Max. As you have seen in various photographs, Australia was well if humbly represented at this meet, both practically and spiritually!

The Great Circle is complete, this handshake with Bob the final spike driven to cement the bond between us all!

Default Beginning of the End

Here is the parting shot - my lil Corolla being chased by the Ford LAAT. Thanks to all who came. We are looking forward to more participation from West Quebec in the future. Viens me voir!

Not with the amount of interest SWMBO has taken in this forum. You will just have to fantasize. Let me start the (ahem) ball rolling...Val d'esire, two bald men fighting to escape a sweater, melons, slo-mo Baywatch footage. Enjoy!

Default Becareful Bob

Looking at all the great pictures and the impressive vehicle turn out I have a word of warning. This is how our Weare rally got started 10-15 vehicles the first couple of years and then it suddenly grows to who knows what.

But seriously looking at the pictures and reading about it really makes me sorry I didn't make it up.

Cheers Phil
