Bruce,
I have a History book of the 5th Canadian anti-tank Regiment. There are a few photo's in it with vehicles. I am not sure if it is the type of information you are looking for but some nice photo's. The history book has the units history from Canada to service overseas. If I ever find the time to read a book, this is one I hope to read someday! Regards,Derk

In post #3, it does not appear to be an International half track pulling the limber and 17 Pdr. Can anyone confirm?

Internationl halftrack
Looks like an International to me as the front mudguards are wrong for a White.

My grandfather served in the 96th Bty, 5th A/Tk Regt. I’ve been trying to collect as much info and history as possible over the years but have not been able to find this specific book in all of my searches. Do you have any leads on where I could look? Photos are another important piece, as I haven’t been able to find many at all of my grandfather - William (Bill) Skelly. Any help/advice would be awesome! Tim |

Any example (pics) for markings of this unit(77) on CMP Gun Tractors? http://famecities.com/2018/01/2319/ Thanks in advance!

AoS Markings
You have to be careful using restored vehicles as a source of information for AoS markings on Canadian wartime vehicles as quite a few carry spurious markings that reflect the owners' personal taste rather than historical accuracy.

Hi Ed
Many thanks for your quick reply. I am looking for historical precision to place the correct insignia of this 5th antitank regiment. But as you say, sometimes we find a salad of badges and markings
