Thread splitting by page

As a computer klutz, I have no idea how complicated this is but I am asking if it is not possible to have page 2, 3 etc. come up after, say, 10 posts instead of what we have now.

It seems I have to scroll forever to get to the bottom of page one.
Maybe it is just me, but on other forums they have page breaks after rather few posts and it just seems easier for me.

I agree Bill, if there are a lot of photos, it takes for ever to load, we are not all on Broadband yet.
