Default 12/24V power supply

I just recently aquired a 12/24 Volt power supply which I believe was originally intended for radio use.
It has the following markings:
1Z1001273
Model 960-60
Standard Radio Products
Made in Canada 1952
I would think that this was for the C42 set, 19 set etc and am seekinking any info on this unit, especially a user manual or schematic diagram. Want to get it up and running as a supply for my 19 set. Have to investigate further as I am not getting any power when plugged in, think it may just be a faulty switch.
Any ideas?
