Default Cylinder head and gearboxes ID please

I was wondering whether anyone can tell me what these are from.

Item 1, Cylinder head, looks like it's machined for a sideplate which extends over the block but it's not Chevrolet.

Part or casting number looks to be C20882

Default Morris

Yes looks like a Morris Commercial gearbox .... I'd say from the LC model . Many of the Morris castings have the logo 'MOWOG' cast on them . MIKE

It certainly has the Morris colour, will have a closer look when I collect it, then work out who would want it! At least it's not going to be scrapped... yet.

Default unknown cylander head

A mechanic who worked with me related about buying a quantity of brand new " chev " engines from WW2 disposals. It turned out that they were toyota. A copy but not near enough ! !
A check on the threads may be a clue to it's origion.

John.
