Default NEW BOOK: British Military Trucks of World War 2

I am not sure if this has been posted yet. But I just bought a copy of the new "Tankograd Publishing" book "British Military Trucks of World War 2", written by forum member Les Freathy.
It's a real must-have for anyone interested in Commonwealth vehicles with hundreds of pictures, many previously unpublished. It will find a nice spot on the shelve, next to other publications by forum members like David Hayward, Nigel Watson, Clive Law and Bart's books!

Alex

p.s. I have no connections to the writer, publisher or seller

Alex,

Les did mention it in passing, so thanks for the proper heads-up here!

Did you buy it from the publishers, or from a local retailer? Enquiring minds want to know as it's on my wants list too.

Thanks,
Hanno

Darn expensive at abebooks. Better for Aussies to get direct from Tankograd publishing!

Next to the publisher, it's also for sale from: I have come to the conclusion it's best for me to order through Amazon.de

Hanno,

I bought it (the last one he had) at the Wings and Wheels show in Belgium from German bookseller "army-book.de". "Poppybooks" in Holland also had it available at the show.

Jan-Willem de Boer might visit Paul Vissers open house in Winkel, next weekend (he also lives in Winkel) so you could email him and ask him to bring a copy. I also plan to go to Winkel, so could also pick it up for you.

Alex

Alex,

Thanks for the info and offer, but I just ordered it through Amazon for a mere 3,- Euro S&H (compared to 15,- Euro at the publisher).
