Default F8 cab layout and wiring

Does anyone have a drawing of the cab layout (location of switches etc.) for a cab 12 Ford F8? Also a wiring diagram? Were the engine compartment electrical items ( e.g. the voltage regulator ) the same for cabs 11/12/13 Ford/Chev?

I have such for the cab 13 but have never seen cab 12 details. There must have been maintenance manuals in 1941/42 for these vehicles?

David

Default Cab 12 dash

Hi David

This is the manual you need:

And this shows you where the switches go.

more

There's a guy (from Queensland I believe) who is making repro sets of these switch and data plates for cab 12s - anyone know his identity?

He was at the Corowa swap meet.

Default Ford Manual

David,
I have one of the Ford Manuals for sale. It has been well used but is original and is the 3rd addition. It is $25.00 including shipping to US address.

Hi Keith,

Was that the guys from Corowa next to the model wooden carrier and 6x6 cmp??- they make a huge range of dataplates actually!

If it is, i have their details somewhere... will go for a rumage and post them up. Tony smith was very interested in a set too i think, so he might have their details also.

Ian.

Ian.
Was that YOU in the trench coat, panama hat and dark glasses following me around the swapmeet?
Yes, I was interested in a set but by the time I got round to his stand, he'd sold the Ford plates set so I didn't have a chance to look at them. I did get a list and prices off him but it's "Filed away" in a safe place. When I remember where that safe place is, I can pass on his details. From memory, he was from Qld and the set of plates for a Ford or Chev CMP was something like $120.

OK, the two guys selling the repro plates were Shane Hodby and Peter Gough. I have contact numbers for them if anyone should contact me by PM.
