Default Howo not to tow a Canon/Gun

Browsing the web i came across this accident Oeps where is Car Glass

Please mark the barrel end of you gun properly please, I don't fancy to be next to have a metal pole stick through the windscreen.

Default Break and Enter - Gunner Style

I am sure that every urban based artillery unit has experienced this event - despite having proper reflective markings on the muzzle.

Too many idiots drive too close. I have no sympathy for tailgaters and it looks like this moron got what they deserve.

Default Happened to somebody in our club

Hi All

This same thing Happened to somebody in our MV club in at McDonald's drive in window. He was towing a small Anti-tank gun behind his jeep the teenage girl drove in to broke the stop light unit hanging on the muzzle, lit, and put a crease up her hood.

There is a wonderful bit in the New Zealand War Dairies describing how the convoy drivers hated to fallow a gun in a night convoy. Because you didn't see it until it was coming through the windscreen.

Cheers Phil

In the photo of the Canadian 105 howitzer, how come the light assembly is half way up the barrel? Or is that where they ended up when the original M2a2 barrels were swapped over to the C3 configuration?

Note that now the Cdn army has dispensed with the barrel mounted lights altogether and are now mounting the tail lamps directly onto the lower area of the shields. Not sure if the lights being down there will help or make the problem worse, drawing the eyes away from the muzzle.
