Default WOW - Great News !!!

Sally, Martin and new Grandpa Vic

Congratulations on the birth of daughter Katilyn. Hopefully this is the start of the 3rd generation of Eaton family CMP fans here on the MLU Forum.

I guess Barry C will need a babyseat in the pickup for your next visit to Canada.

All the best.

Thumbs up Outstanding, Martin!

Congrats and best wishes from snow-bound Canada! Make sure you treat Mom like the queen she is - like Hanno said, SHE did all the hard work!

Good luck with your new life and post a pic when you can.

Geoff

Talking Message from Mum

Hi everyone, thanks for all the good wishes

Martin, bless him, was typing his message after a lot of hours full of no sleep, tension, etc, etc and has managed to spell his daughter's name a teeny bit wrong :

It's actually Kaitlyn

Don't worry though, I've just asked him to spell it again and he got it right this time

A picture will be posted; Mart has just gone out to buy a new digital camera because he trashed the last one :

Sally,

I've changed her name in the heading of this thread - we want her to get a good start in life!

Congratulations to you! I hope the delivery wasn't too hard on you. I've seen my wife Jo go through two deliveries - whoever says men are the stronger sex had better think again

Hanno

Thanks Hanno

Compared to some poor women, I think I had a pretty easy time (although it didn't feel like it at the time ) Martin was brilliant, and is thoroughly enjoying being a dad; but you're right about 'the stronger sex'

Default What a cutie!

Congratulations from Geoff's better half! Well done, Mum!

My personal opinion is that pink is much cuter than khaki!

Hi Sally

I'm glad you and babe didn't have such a hard time. And it NEVER feels like an easy time ...eek OUCH! Both my babes and I were in serious trouble during the birthing, but we did it! Now one is 28, the other 21 next month. You blink...and they're grown. THAT fast.

Glad Martin is so thrilled and hyper about bein' DAD

BTW ... I thin we women are strong because someones gotta be strong

take care... Carman

Nothing wrong with Desert Pink, me boy! Light Stone would probably be equally as attractive to her...

Default Pink

Sally tells me she is thinking more like the bubble gum pink, the kind you can see in the dark, and would never paint a chevy in!

HELLO THERE BOB GRANFARTHER EATON CALLING
Many years back we had a connection with ADELAIDE as in the 1920s the church here had a policy of sending young menfrom large families to australier and my mums brother was one who got sent he worked on a farm growing fruit the place was called THE PATCH i think it was near a place called CASTLEMAIN. we have a couple of photos of the farm and a picture of him as a young man his name was sid and as far as we know he ended his days in a nursing home in ADELAIDE he never did return home but stayed on the same farm all his life. have you ever heard of this place called THE PATCH. i have often wondered what it was like. he had a very hard time when he got there.
regards grandfarther vic eaton uk.

Hello Vic

Here is a site you may like to research.

www.castlemainehistoricalsociety.com

If you send me your uncles full details I could do a Hatch, Match and Dispatch search for you.
