I know these turn up from time to time on eBay as good used or NOS items, but was somebody making very good reproductions of them a few years ago, or am I just dreaming?

I have only seen NOS ones kicking around here and there...never reproductions yet. They would be better made of brass or something. The bakelite ones are too susceptible to damage due to cross threading.

(The brass ones are probably even worse for cross-threading, not to mention fatigue cracking due to temperature changes during storage.) Chris. |
