You are asking for some tough to find sizes, with or without the helmet shell.

Best bet may be to go with the repros that are out there. What Price Glory has them for a reasonable amount.

Default Tough One ....Yes!

Hi Rob: I've got a ton of 6 7/8 and a smattering of 7 1/8. Couple of dozen CDN shells, about 6 dozen chin straps and brass screws. But the "big boys" are extremely hard to come by, as you say. Checked out What Price Glory and may have to strongly consider that avenue.
Thanks very much for your input. Robert

Default The wearable sizes.......

....are really hard to find......... anything 7 1/4 and up is holy grail.....

Be careful with What price glory..... I got one of their liners and the black plastic crown strap the forms the cross for the cross rubber and screw was made of very hard plastic and actually broke before I could install it......... they may be using a different supplier as there are a number of web sites now selling them...some directly from China..... speaking of which the Chinese are now making the Tommy helmets out of plastic and listing them from 9.99 US $ including liner and strap up to $50. US$ if remailed from the Continental USA......

some dirty original liners will cleanup nicely with plain dish soap and water....some are too dried up to salvage.......BUT can be used as headlight covers on LRDG trucks.

Cheers
