Default Burma in 1977 and 1996

An email from Argentina led me to rescan my Burmese images and make a new page from the 1970s when the CMP reigned in Burma. The pic I was sent was of a Burmese bus on a travel website which prompted me to contact the site's owner, Martin Schmidt who sent me several pictures of CMPs still at work in Myanmar as it is now called in 1996.
Has anyone else visited Burma? Are there any more pictures of these fascinating buses around?

This is a bus depot in Rangoon in 1977.

Here's the 1977 page

This is one of Martin's pictures taken in 1996. What sort of engine has been fitted?

Here's the 1996 page.
