What is the context? Which vehicle would it have been mounted on? Time frame - although a NSN of 20 tells me this is fairly recent.

The country code identifier of 20 (replacing 21 for Canada after we used up the available numbers) came out around 2002, and the 004 would be a couple years after that. So it could be an early Afghanistan thing.

I have a vague recollection of a system that was fielded in KAF on the 'every soldier a sensor'. It was like a dashcam that recorded constantly. Lots of video to search for very little information of intelligence value.

These were a camera system for the HESV PLS. It was introduced in 2008.
