Default CMP Instrument Panel ID Plates

Are the instrument panel ID plates for the Ford F-15A and Chev C-15A the same or slightly different?

Also can anyone tell me if these instrument panel plates have been reproduced and are available for sale?

Thank you

Default Re. Instrument Panel Plates

Hi Reg
When you talk about the plates, do you mean the switch plates or the nomencular plates?

Yes, I was referring to the actual electrical switch plates or nomenclature plates for the various lighting combinations and ignition etc.

I was once told that the layout, design, and style of lettering varied between Ford and Chev. But I do not know and thought that it might be more of an earlier and later design style.

If these plates have been reproduced I would be interested in purchasing them.

Cheers

The switch plates are different. Chevs have an individual plate for each switch. Ford switch plates are clustered in groups of three.

Default Switch Plate Information

Reg
If you go to the Search provision on the top right hand side of your screen and search under the key words "Switch Plates" you will find numerous threads, several of which I initiated, covering this topic. I have reproduced decals covering these plates and you should see those on on of the threads.

I have an original Chevrolet ID plate. The big one on the top of the dash. It hasn't been stamped yet. I bought it years ago in Canada. Make an offer if intertested.

I can supply a picture if you want...

Roland

Being new to MLU I am working my way through the system and learning the ropes. I appreciate the great help you all have provided.

I am not surprised that this question has come up before so I was able to do a search and read all the previous info.
