Default C60X scale model

The master for this 1:35 scale C60X Machinery truck model was built by Alex van de Wetering, a long time member of Maple Leaf Up Forum as you all know.

Feast your eyes on the interior - I have seen the original and it is magnificent!

Thanks Hanno and Ed! Yes, "the cat is out of the bag"! I was at Resicast yesterday and we discussed the last few things that need solving.

Hanno insisted I post some pictures, which I will certainly do when the last few details have been sorted......along with a proper thanks to the people that helped with the project!

Alex

I have copied the message from FB here so non-FBers don't have to miss out. I don't build models anymore otherwise I would surely have bought this fantastic kit!

PS: pity to hear the master will be destroyed(?!?)

This will be a limited and numbered edition of 65 kits (in fact 70 will be produced but five of these are for the RESICAST gang)
NOT ONE MORE WILL BE PRODUCED as masters will be destroyed!
The kit is researched and mastered by Alex van de Wetering.
The CAD wheels designed by Eelke Warrink are sagged and all 6 are different in position.
Front wheels can be orientated (due to the complexity only 2 possibilities)
The interior is fully detailed as is the cab and engine.
There are over 260 different parts (over 330 in all), a sheet of PE and decals (by Black Lion) for three different vehicles.
The assembly instructions are on a USB memory stick

That is a really nice looking kit! If I was still 'cutting plastic' I surely would have bought it to add to my stash of 'plastic insulation'.

Hanno, thanks for copying the message.
I am one of those non-Facebookers myself, but the Resicast facebook is "open", so after ignoring the popups to make you a member of FB and accepting the cookies, one should be able to see the pictures and read the messages......well for a while at least, until you have run out of your "free" minutes for the day .

Ed, haha....yes, the attic insulation as we call it here

Thanks guys.

About a week ago we finally finished the instruction for the kit and Resicast started production, so the first kits should be delivered to the customers very soon.

I have been working on this project on and off for over ten years and I would like to thank all on MLU that have helped with information over the years. A few people that I would like to thank in particular: Colin Alford, Clive Law, Nick Bullock and Hanno Spoelstra. And outside MLU: Arco Seton of the Delft Army museum and Iwan van Dijk of the Overloon war museum. Thanks Guys!

I thought it was fitting to do a donation to MLU so all members will benefit; so a donation was done yesterday.

As promised I am attaching some more pictures of the two test-builds I did a few weeks ago.

Simply stunning! The level of detail is phenomenal and a tribute to research and miniaturization.
