Just a comment on the bike carrier.

Locally, we have seen both municipal and provincial police enforcing lighting and licence plate regulations in relation to carriers. I wholeheartedly support such enforcement actions. Some have been given warnings, usually in daytime and I saw one getting towed at night.

There is a way around which is to use a trailer plug as a break out for a whip to power a light board along the back of the carrier. It would be a tow minute job to move the rear licence plate there as well.

Do things at your own risk but be aware of what you are doing is all I say.
