Default Hup restoration restarting

Hello

In our association (UNIVEM ex MVCG PARIS) ,we own a CHEVROLET C8A HUP. For a long time, the girl was along the coast near the town of DIEPPE but happily she was in a shed during the winters. Some adherents whishe to restore the truck but unfortunaly it was dismantle 10 years ago. Among the parts losed we are loocking for the parts between the cab and the frame.
If some one is able to give us a pic or a drawing so we would be happy.
Regards to all

Default Can you take a picture of area of missing parts

Hi

If you can take a picture of where the missing parts should be, mark the spot and post the picture, I am sure one of our many HUP owners will be able to tell what the part looks like supply a picture of the missing part. May even find that some one has the part in question.

Cheers Phil

Would that be the museum that used to be near Dieppe in one of the bunkers?

Default Museum near dieppe

Hello ALEX

You are right about the CHEVROLET HUP. Happily the girl was inside the bunker during the rainy days of winter so there is not many rust.
Happily most vehicles which were outside were sold to military vehicle collector mainly the FORD CANADA F60S and some ex german vehicle (STOEWER, PANZER IV ....)
Actually the museum is closed and some years ago it was possible to see an DUCKW in very bad state and some bulldozers ex french army.
After the meeting "LE PAS DE CALAIS LIBERE" we hope to start the restoration and I will display some pics.
Regards Serge
