email notification
I have started getting email notification of new posts in threads up to 2 days late instead of fairly soon after the new post has occured.

Cliff,
See my other email post. Notifications were driven off domain-based mail, and that was down for almost two days. About halfway through that I changed domain mail over to Sympatico to keep it running; after the problem was fixed all the old stuff which had been held up started trickling in.
