Default Rama Surplus is closing, sort of

Many of you know Ralph Mason who owns Rama Surplus in Oshawa.
The city has been trying to close him down for sometime now..and they finaly had tenders put in to have the trailers removed and the open areas cleaned.
How many of you got parts or WW2 surplaus there over the years!!

For the past few weeks I have spent as much time as I could helping clear out the trailers to save anything worthwhile...and some of the stuff I found as we got to the floors of the trailers!!!.
Ralph will be allowed to keep the 3 buildings..so we have been craming stuff into them.

As of Monday the 10th of Nov, the contractors will be there..so Ralph will no longer be allowed to remove stuff from the trailers or the open yards.
A sad end to a great place to hunt for Military Stuff!!

That is too bad, Barry Churcher took me up there, at the time I worked for him in his garage, I got some neat stuff out of there.
Funny though, as by coincidence we talked about RAMA when Barry was here with Der HUPmeister in Holland this year.
Good for you that you spent some time in there the last weeks!

Cheers,

Stefan
