Default Rear Chassis Member

Mike,

I couldn't seem to discover how to add a picture to a private message so posted it here. Thanks for getting back to be re rear cross member. Most I have seen so far are either warped from having been used as a tow hitch or damaged in othe rmysterious ways.

The cross member I need is the one on extreme right of the diagram & most have the triangular shaped bracing brackets (Not all have, but most do). Second photo shows it in real life.

If your chassis is sufficiently stuffed that damaging isn't an issue, I can bring the cutting wheel and cut the part off. But if you MAY want to use this chassis in future, I woudn't want to destroy the back of it. Is power available for the cutting wheel?

Do let me know how you go with the fellow I told you about. If no good, well there's a plan B as a possibility though the second guy gets a bit cautious of strangers due to past thefts from his property.

Tony

The picture you have shown is of a Chev C15a they are Different to a ford chassis along with the brace sections at the rear
For your F15 you are looking more for this style

Default Odd

Somewhat odd the way that F15 chassis has been cut at the back.

Default Poor old things

Looks like they've done their fair share of work too.

Default Whoops

Sorry Guys,

My whoops, I sent the pic in haste & didn't check closely. Must have been in the excitement of the moment.
