Default Flare Gun cartridge box

Hi, I have an Australian bren gun carrier flare pistol ammo box and want to convert it to fit in a canadian carrier on the engine cover, I understand the main body of the box is the same but the mounting brackets are different.

So basically any info on making this conversion would be greatly received, its seems the australian box is easy to come by.

HI Kevin

Ive got an original CND one on my carrier. I'll try and get some pics of it next week for you. That bracket that mounts it to the engine cover panel is actaully riveted onto the bin. It would not be hard to modify the bin. On mine I was missing all the internals for the CND one and the floor was rusted away. I cut a new piece to fit and soldiered into place. I then fit the internals from the Aussi one into the CND one.

Hi all

Here is a bunch of photos of the Cnd flare box. The internals are from an Aussie one. The felt padding in the lid is original to the Cnd one.

Any questions are more pictures just ask.
