. . . are the two removable fold out pages normally found inside the cover there?

Looks like both charts have been photographed, Michael.

Default Hmmmmmmmmm ...

Would you still suggest that when you look at the seam splits and the page number S-10 showing? Sometimes sellers do not realize there are foldouts in the cover pockets, or if they see the cover pockets empty, do not realize what they were intended to hold. Dean: come to the table!

Michael.

To be on the safe side, I would scroll down the eBay posting to the 'Ask a Question' bar and check directly with the seller. I did not notice the page ref when I first looked at the photos posted and when I went back and read the description, it also seemed odd the two charts were not mentioned. It will make a big difference to the 'real value' of the manual to find out for certain. It should not command as high a price if those two items are missing, but then informed knowledge is not what often drives eBay pricing.

Good luck with it.

The charts indeed could be a dealmaker/dealbreaker. I have an original of the stowage foldout in a poster frame sitting above my desk. Guys have made copies of them, but nothing like the real thing.

I just rec'd an email back via the eBay system that the charts are not with this manual. Pretty nice shape otherwise, however, and if it was part of a particular regiment's inventory at one time, it is likely the manual saw some use in it's day, so it has held up rather well.

The other thing to note is that this manual is the vinyl covered 'waterproof' one that is supposed to go in the vehicle (the bin under the gun port) and not the more common shop manual.

Sorry for not getting on this thread sooner,
The 2 charts are not with this manual, and the cover appears to be water proof, The book is very clean.
As Peter mentioned I had a very bad health issue for a couple of weeks that put me in the ICU, It will take sometime for me to get back into the swing of things, so I have gone into some of my better items in the basement hoard and am listing them on fleabay, as much as I dislike that "place"
Later this week I will be listing My Base Shop Data Manual for the "Car, Half Track, M2" reprinted for distribution to the British Forces 1942 as well as my original copy of the "operators Manual for the Sexton 25 PR Tracked" 1943
No where as nice as the Carrier manual.
I have been told I cannot go back to work for 15 to 30 weeks..damn Legionnaires Disease!!!

Best wishes for a speedy return to good health, Dean.
Time to put your medical training to work, so you can attend OMVA for Oct. 12.
