Default It's gone to scrap

Recently speaking to a chap about our hobbies, he's into old holdens, I'm into old army vehicles. He is from south west victoria and told me about some vehicles he knows about. Three jeeps that have been in sheds for years and a half track troop carrier. 'A half track' I say, ' they're rare'. It's pretty buggered as it's been in the paddock for years he tells me but he'll swing past and send me some pictures.
I got the news today. He went to the farm and spoke to the owner. The half track belonged to the owners grandfather who passed on some years before. It was sent to the scrappies 12 months ago. They had no use for it.
Bugger.
I have no idea what sort of half track it may have been.

Default Half tracks

I've seen one or two farmer built half tracks and there were several built as experiments here using Ford, Chevrolet and International chassis, but it would be tragic if it were the original half track blitz prototype as recreated by Salesman Bob!
