Kevin, are these British pattern ? They look more chunky than the Lamp I have, it may be that my lamp is not a carrier lamp ?

Picture of the dash lamp on my Canadian No2 MK2* Carrier which I believe to be original, is this the pattern you refer to Richie? and yes I have repaired the crack since this photo was taken.

Default TL2 Light

Mike, that is the Canadian one, used on MK1* and probably Mk2
The British Carrier had an early version of dash light and the one Kevin has, must have been the standard version they ended up using on several vehicles,
including English Carriers, Valentine Tanks, etc., probably from 1940 on wards, That is my view of the situation, Cheers Andrew.

Yeah mine is the same as yours Mike, as Andrew says, Kevin’s are likely a British pattern.

Nice find nonetheless !!
