I' ve received from USA this picture : This truck captured by german Dak, perahps Chevrolet YS4103 3ton 6x4 ? Behind the picture I can read " Vor Marsa (after i don't read ) the word then Mai 42 My blog : http://butcher-of-corsica.blogspot.com/

Appears to me to be a standard 3 ton or 30cwt 4 X 2 with a 2 wheeled trailer behind. Seems to be a RHD as well.

Anyway, back to the photo.
Is that the bridging plate on the right front mudguard? It has 9 which means that it is more than likely a larger 6x4. A 4x2 would have a lesser rating. (I might be wrong though.) It is a really good photo. regards Rick

I think that the lorry is carring some captured allied soldiers, note the British tin hat and the blokes behind him seem to be wearing turban headgear, perhaps that is why the caption mentions british and Indian troops, John.
